Not that I want to challenge Iain Henderson's words, but: Like most Norwegians, in high- school I have been given a (very) brief intro- duction to Norse, and as far as I can see, the translation from Laphroaig to "the beautiful hollow by the broad bay" seems to be a bit far-fetched. If possible, I would very much like to see the explanation given by the historians in question. BTW: What a great Whisky!
