Dear Ross, I admit that although the 15 Y is great and literally explodes in the mouth I do prefer the 10 Y. I have long hesitated to state this and tried numerous comparative tastings but I find the 10Y more "Laphroaig" then the 15Y. I'am glad You brought this up. Eevntually one might say: "De gustibus et coloribus..." but if someone mentiones to me the salty peaty medicinal yet mature taste of Laphroaigh it is still the longing image of the 10Y-old that my limbic lobe neurons tend to produce.
