Greetings Georges. Indeed, my friend, you put it well when you said that the 10yr is more "Laphroaig" than the 15yr. I sometimes feel that distillers make older bottlings simply to say they have them (and perhaps charge more). I once met the Whiskey maker for The Macallan (Single Malt) who told me that their 18yr was their best effort, and that they only made a 25yr because other distillers were. He seemed to think that Scotch whiskey actually deteriorated in taste after 20 years in the cask. Who knows??? At any rate, I wish you a joyous holiday season, and may all your drams come true. Perhaps you should leave Santa a dram or two of the 10yr, you will probably make out better that way...Ross
