Georges. At Laphroaig we do not sell individual casks to people. There is good basis behind this as it would cost you more in the long run, and also we would have very little control over what could be sold under the name Laphroaig if the purchaser decided to sell the cask. the charges during maturation add up to quite a lot of money. with respect to investing in Malt Scotch Whisky the Scotch whisky Assosciation advise that it is very unlikely that a profit would be made - they have published a leaflet about it.
