We`d like to tell you how many different kinds of Ardbeg we have in our collection and have tasted over the years, but that list would take a lot of your time. Let`s state that among our favorites are the Ardbeg 1978 and 1975. We were fortunate to taste the 10 year old distillery bottling (from approx. 15 years ago). So we can say that we know Arbeg rather well, as we also have an independent bottling of a 9 year old Ardbeg. Maybe you would like to know that we have yet to discover an Ardbeg that is not to our liking. By the way, we are also great fans of Glenmorangie. We are eagerly awaiting a new 10 year old Ardbeg and hope that the original maltings at Ardbeg will be restored. Again, thanks for your kind response and speedy shipment- it was wonderful to have the items before Christmas.

First, let me express our admiration for this unique product, the world`s best whisky ever made. We (around 5 passionnate whiskey drinker here in the 3-country region `switzerland-Germany-France`) are constantly working on the `Ardbegisation` of colleagues and friends, still wasting their money on toxic waste like Chivas, J. Walker, Glennfiddich,.. and similar liquids. But we will take the glory of Ardbeg to people, who never could imagine how whisky realy can taste. So we are on a mission from god.
Now, we have been visting your site in late November 98, we still remeber the tour that this nice lady called `Paula` was giving us. So we decided to visit you again and also show you some marvellous pictures we shot when we left your island. One is a rainbow coming down right over Ardbeg distillery, which shines in bright light.
We also heard about the damage storms were doing to your visitor center last year, we hope that the finacial impact is not to critical.
P.S: by the way, if you don`t sell us a cask, we will protest and go into hunger-strike right in front of your visitor center......" |

"We`ve visited Islay last week and it is without question the warmest place on earth. And I don`t refer to the weather !
We`d like to especially thank Paula who`s told us all we wanted to know about Ardbeg and more both at the distillery and at the Ardview Inn.
There is no doubt that we will return to Islay in the future.
On tuesday january 25th we`ve organised a nosing and tasting here in Uitgeest Holland dedicated to Islay and it`s Malts.
